Guests and family members can also enjoy the elevated cuisine at Provence Restaurant when they visit their loved ones at our Newport Center assisted living community.

The Riviera is a private dining room available to residents at Vivante’s Newport Center assisted living community. This private dining room with seating for up to 20 guests is the perfect setting for family gatherings, special events, and celebrations. Events held in the Riviera may be fully catered by our culinary team. Our talented chefs will work with you to design a custom menu to delight your family and friends.

The only assisted living community with a formal partnership with Hoag, this collaboration also ensures that a full-time staff is there to provide a proactive approach to routine medical care. Residents can benefit from on-site doctor visits, physical and occupational therapy, neurological evaluation and support, and other medical services. No more worrying about transportation to doctor’s offices or long waits for appointments when in a home care situation. Our Hoag partnership is the same for both Vivante Newport Mesa and Vivante Newport Center, offering comprehensive senior care for residents in the comfort of the community.
Residents who prefer to be treated at home can see a trusted provider who will work with them with a personalized care plan. The Hoag team is committed to creating a collaborative approach with residents, families, and specialist physicians.
The specialists from Hoag can implement post-hospitalization rehab plans so residents can recover in the comfort of home and continue care in our dedicated space, “VIVAH” (Vivante Initiative for Vital Aging with Hoag). This program helps reduce the need for residents to spend time off-site in skilled nursing.
Hoag’s compassionate palliative care team can coordinate all necessary medications and equipment for comfort and symptom management during end-of-life care. Psychological and spiritual support is available for patients, their families, and caregivers. Bereavement support is available for family and loved ones.
We are working with doctors at the Neurosciences Institute to provide the most up-to-date cognitive care options and programming to our residents. This includes virtual reality for therapeutic purposes and the Montessori Method for dementia, among other techniques.

The Vivante Vitality Program is an exciting initiative for Vivante residents. Working in partnership with California State University Long Beach (CSULB) Department of Gerontology, Vivante’s assisted living communities in Newport Beach offer independent living residents tools and support to improve their physical and mental well-being.
We have found that some of our senior residents lack motivation in caring for their bodies and minds, claiming, “How can I improve my quality of life at this age?” The Vitality Programs mission is to provide our residents with a long-term, easy-to-follow program to make positive physical, mental, and social lifestyle changes.
Programming for the Vitality Program is the same for all communities, underscoring our commitment to wellness and excellence.
The Vitality Program Focuses on four core areas: physical, nutritional, cognitive, and mental wellness. The program includes a variety of daily fun, dynamic activities to engage our residents, such as dance, water aerobics, music, brain fitness games, and more.
At the beginning of each 8-week cohort, the team works with participants to conduct baseline assessments, documenting a participant’s initial stats, such as blood pressure, weight, cognitive ability, and other pertinent criteria established by the residents’ doctors and our Long Beach State Gerontology partner. Throughout the program, participants can track how their wellness measures improve.
Vivante’s assisted living community at Newport Center offers luxurious, spacious independent living residences. Residents can choose from five one- and two-bedroom floor plans that range in size from 750 to 2,500 square feet. These well-appointed residences feature top-of-the-line finishes, including Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, solid wood cabinetry, quartz countertops, walk-in closets, and ocean breezes via balconies or terraces for many. All residences have in-home washers and dryers, dishwashers, and elegant fixtures.
