Vivante is dedicated to enhancing accessibility, diversity and inclusion.  As part of that, we strive to create an accessible and barrier-free environment in our website by meeting the online usability and design requirements recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) in its Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG 2.0).  For those familiar with WCAG 2.0, we aim to comply with the technical requirements of WCAG 2.0 Level AA  across our site, including using design standards that help visitors to our website identify, interpret, understand and interact with information presented on our web site. These design standards include the use of sufficient color contrast between the text and the background, providing text alternatives for non-text content such as pictures, and using adequate descriptions for clickable links.  Additionally, we support screen magnification technologies and accessibility features — like zoom, color and other image controls — that major browsers provide.

We endeavor to follow W3C’s globally recognized standards to provide content that is compatible with computer-based assistive technologies and browsers. We recommend using the most current versions of (or the version released just prior to) the manufacturer’s assistive technology applications, along with current versions of browsers. We also recommend trying different types of browsers with assistive technology applications to determine which combination works best for you.

We don’t provide assistive technology applications or browsers. Please visit the individual manufacturer’s site for information about how to obtain them. You may also have access to assistance from local and state agencies or non-profit groups in your area.

Our process of assessing and removing barriers that may exist on our website is necessarily an ongoing one due to rapidly evolving technologies.  We recognize that we are not yet able to offer a fully accessible digital experience to all visitors to our website.  If you’ve experienced difficulties using our website or would otherwise like to provide feedback about accessibility, we invite you to do so by contacting us at support@vivanteliving.com.
